Dismantle all oppressive systems. Push the needle forward. Be introspective. Have the uncomfortable conversations.

Tell your truth.

Only the black woman can say, “when and where I enter, in the quiet, undisputed dignity of my womanhood, without violence and without suing or special patronage, then and there the whole Negro race enters with me.” – Dr. Anna Julia Cooper

I’m a Black Woman with a lot to say. I read more than I write, and I talk more than I read, so believe me when I say, I have something to say about any and everything. This blog is my truth and my voice, in all of its uncensored, carefree, serious, and black glory.

I believe that introspection promotes growth, reading is fundamental, asking “why” is important, and aligning yourself with your truth will bring you peace.

Enjoy,
